When the school bell rings at the end of every day, kids across La Plata County pour out of classrooms and into their after school routines. For some, this means heading home where they are met by a parent who helps them with homework before driving them to basketball practice and piano lessons. For others in our community, after school options are far less certain, stable, and safe.
Open when schools are not, our Club provides a safe and fun alternative to being unsupervised during out-of-school time. Over 1,200 youth attend the Club each year for activities, to see their friends, and to spend time with positive and encouraging adults.
