Center for Alexandria's Children

The Center for Alexandria’s Children grew out of our community’s response to tragedy: a child homicide that drew attention to the need for improved outcomes for children suffering abuse and neglect. It was clear that if we came together as a community, we could serve these children better.
One Safe Place. A group of passionate City activists and philanthropists created the Center for Alexandria’s Children, inspired by the Child Advocacy Center model where a child could receive coordinated and specialized services to help them recover from abuse.
