About Habitat York County
Habitat for Humanity York County was founded in 1985 by Miles Freeman and a small group of dedicated individuals. Since that time, Habitat has completed 31 homes in York County for hard-working people in need of decent, affordable housing.
In June 2013, Habitat opened a ReStore to support our mission. The ReStore sells donated building materials, appliances, furniture, hardware and household goods to the general public, and proceeds support Habitat’s affordable housing mission.
