In 1996, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the Diocese of Cincinnati, generously donated 10.5 acres of real estate for the construction of an all new Y.
From 1992-2007, the Y operated the community outdoor pool.
In January of 1997, the Wapakoneta Riverview Community Center at 8 North Blackhoof, was donated free and clear as a start-up facility for the Y and was used for programming until closing its doors in November 2009. The building is no longer owned or operated by the YMCA.
