Royal Oak, Mich., Sept 1, 2015 – The 2016 season for GiveYoung.org is full-speed ahead and will be supported by The Westin Hotels in both the Detroit and Chicago area.
For the 2016 season, GiveYoung.org has launched an effort to host Engage events in both Detroit and Chicago with the support of one of last year’s partners. The Westin Hotels will be the location for both events in 2016 – April 8th in Detroit at The Westin Book Cadillac and August 5th in Chicago at The Westin River North. GiveYoung.org selected these urban venues to play host to events with up to 400 guests and showcase eight nonprofits at each venue.
“Having The Westin support us in both cities is huge. It gives us a similar platform to educate the next generation of philanthropists,” said Rick Van House, co-founder and chairman of GiveYoung.org. “Playing host to 16 nonprofits, 8 from Detroit and 8 from Chicago, will help so many people along the way. We are so excited.”
All of the nonprofits for the 2016 season are not yet decided but that process is under way in both cities, and those details will be finalized before the end of this year.
