Ken Deever, Jr. started roofing in the 1970s and established Deever Roofing in 1981. For more than 30 years he has been giving back to the community by making Christmas a reality for school kids in a low-income neighborhoods of Des Moines, Iowa. In 2005, Ken took what had been a personal labor of love and established The Rooftop Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to giving children in Des Moines, Iowa a chance to experience a Christmas that otherwise would not have been possible.
