OUR MISSION

In 2014, our name was changed to “Black River United Way” to break down walls and be more inclusive of the entire population we serve – an effort to engage and unite people and resources across sectors to drive lasting improvement in the well-being of children, families and the communities that surround them.

MISSION & CORE VALUES.
The Black River United Way (BRUW) creates a better quality of life for people in Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties by leveraging resources; to lead early-grade learning programs for children, build family self-sufficiency, and ensure disaster resiliency through preparation and mitigation; with the goal of producing the greatest community impact.
