Enhanced VolunteerWelcome! United Way of Humphreys County (UWHC) is a nonprofit organization based in Waverly, TN. UWHC provides funding opportunities for programs and agencies that are meeting a critical need in Humphreys County. These needs fall within our focus areas – education, health, financial stability and rebuilding lives.
Along with providing funding to our partner agencies, we also have several programs and initiatives of our own. Our goal is to make the biggest impact possibly in our community by following a simple principle: “Together we can all make it”. To Live United is to join hands, open your heart, lend your muscle, find your voice, think of we before me, reach out a hand to one and influence the condition of all, the list goes on and on. Whether you can give 10%, 50% or 100%, the donation of your voice, your valuable time and/or your hard earned dollars will make an impact in the lives of many people in our community.
