“Specifically, A Place of Refuge provides a two-year residential semi-independent living program for homeless¬†young men¬†in the foster care system.
Our young men will work to achieve the following goals:
- Education
- Employment
- Finances
- Parenting
- Healthy living
- Work place professionalism
Our young men¬†are expected to¬†make significant strides toward these goals while preparing¬†for independent living. In addition the young men¬†must learn to live with others in an appropriate manner, as well as maintain house rules and everyday care for a home.”
