We’ve been committed from day one to advancing the public’s health care needs. In 1990, the same eight individuals who founded AMCP two years prior boldly took one more step. Our founders realized AMCP’s important efforts to promote the honor and integrity of the practice of pharmacy in a managed care setting could be significantly extended. Our organization was created as the Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy in 1990 and renamed the AMCP Foundation in 2013.
