The American Friends of the Israel Museum (AFIM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting The Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
Situated on a serene 20-acre campus, the Israel Museum is home to the world’s most extensive collection of art and Holy Land archaeology, and includes the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest surviving biblical manuscript. From prehistory to the present, from Africa to Asia to the Americas, the Museum contains an encyclopedic collection of nearly 500,000 pieces.
