Originally founded by the Palatine veterans of World War I, Post 690 is located in downtown Palatine, Illinois. American Legion Post 690 has been serving veterans, veteran families and the public since 1924 when it was granted its charter. The post provides support through the post’s American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary.
