Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity

Every day people in our community partner with Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With Habitat’s help, they achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. As significant economic impacts of COVID-19 continue to unfold in 2022, the number of families struggling to make ends meet is only growing. We are currently raising final phase funding for the development and construction Norris Village: Phase II, a 5 home mini-subdivision. We broke ground on the project in November 2021 and infrastructure will begin in January 2022.
