Each word of our mission was chosen with intention. A feeling of safety is the foundation for all effective grief support. All are welcome; confidentiality is assured; sharing is always optional; and our spaces are judgment-free zones. All our activities take place in a group environment where the emphasis is on peer support. We don’t offer one-to-one counseling so we make referrals whenever necessary. We support those who are grieving through our curriculum, activities & events based on best practices for childhood bereavement. We empower families by giving them practical tools & resources they can use together well beyond their direct involvement with us. Finally, while we grieve many things in life – a divorce, an incarceration, infertility, loss of autonomy, broken dreams – our focus is on grieving the death of someone important.
