Limited VolunteerOUR MISSION
Crabtree Neck Land Trust (CNLT) was founded in 2005 to conserve land on and near Crabtree Neck, Hancock, Maine. Our goal is to maintain the historic rural character of the peninsula. Our mission is to preserve land that provides essential wildlife habitat and corridors, scenic view-sheds, and open spaces which are endangered by development pressures in this coastal area; to engage with the community in building strong connections with the land; and to provide public access to these conserved properties whenever possible and appropriate. Since its inception, CNLT has conserved more than 400 acres on Crabtree Neck and has created 7 miles of trails on its 6 public preserves, in addition to establishing a thriving Community Garden.
