Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Service Center opened in 1984 as the only non-profit 501(c)3 organization in Central California dedicated to serving Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and Late Deafened individuals and their families. Our four offices (Fresno Headquarters, Central Coast Outreach, South Valley Outreach, and Merced Outreach) serve eight counties, which include Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare Counties in the green area of the map. Most of our staff and at least 51% of our Board of Directors are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Because we value all people, we have made our offices Safe Spaces for our LGBTQIA+ community members.
