Friends of Lakeside Lab is a non-profit entity with the mission of supporting water quality monitoring, environmental education, and research initiatives at Iowa Lakeside Laboratory. Founded in 1996, the Friends began as a group of locals who sought to save the Lakeside Laboratory property from being sold. Since saving the lab and growing an original endowment, the Friends of Lakeside Lab has grown to financially support scholarships, internships, research, arts, and more!
