Founded in 1990, Genesee County Habitat for Humanity (Genesee Habitat) is one of nearly 1,200 United States affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, with the vision of eliminating poor housing conditions and homelessness from the world. Since then, Habitat for Humanity has maintained that vision by incorporating both housing and community development in its mission of building homes, communities and hope.
