Limited VolunteerOUR MISSION
Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, or GCASA, has served residents of Western New York for almost five decades. Founded in 1975, GCASA started with a focus on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug use, and has grown and expanded dramatically since. We now serve residents in Genesee and Orleans Counties, working with a team of more than 125 people and an operating budget of more than $7 million annually.
Since our formation, we have broadened our programs, as well. We offer residential and detox services, recovery services, and an employee assistance program that helps to provide counseling, grief support and other programs for employers to help deal with issues that affect productivity.
