In 2013, Groundwork RVA was founded by a broad-based group of community visionaries, dedicated to making Richmond greener, more sustainable and more equitable. Early inspiration and support were provided by the City of Richmond, the National Park Service, the Environmental Protection Agency and Groundwork USA, Inc.
