OUR MISSION

Habitat Alamance was formed by a group of Western Electric employees who had been inspired by their service with the company’s Pioneer’s Club. These men joined with a few local churches to found Habitat Alamance in 1988. Since then, Habitat Alamance has built over 170 houses, meaning hundreds of children have the space to do homework and get rest for school the next day.
