Our Mission

Junior Achievement of North Central Michigan, Inc. began operations in 1952. Today the local franchise serves school age children in 18 counties including Bay, Midland, Saginaw, Clare, Gladwin, Isabella and Gratiot Counties. JA’s original acceptance was sparked by the same community awareness that fuels it today – intuitive business and education leaders introducing our future community leaders to the free enterprise system.
