LCF was developed by Fargo teenagers in 2011 to bring hope and encouragement to young people who felt discouraged and uninspired to be learners, servers, and leaders in the world. Mary Jean resigned her teaching position and became the Executive Director the fall of 2011 to launch the grassroot mission of LCF.
