The North Hudson Community Action Foundation (NHCA Foundation) was created in the spring of 2002 to support the health and social services of North Hudson Community Action Corporation (NHCAC), which has been a symbol of hope and stability in Hudson County, New Jersey for over 43 years.
The NHCA Foundation provides essential health and social programs to those in need. These include Emergency Food and Shelter, WIC, Head Start, Immigration support, Job Placement, Tenant Advocacy, Project Shape, and our Children’s First Daycare program in Hudson County. In addition, the NHCA Foundation supports residents living in Hudson, Bergen, and Passaic Counties to receive high-quality primary health care services for OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Dental. However, NHCA Foundation depends largely on public support to offer these programs to underserved community members at little or no cost.
