Progress Trust, Inc. SULLIVAN PROGRESS PLAZA

The Progress Trust Inc. is a non-profit community Development corporation, established in 1999 as an outgrowth of the Progress Investment Associates, Inc. (PIA) at a time when PIA was launching into a major redevelopment and expansion of Progress Plaza Shopping Center. The Plaza was in serious disrepair and a plan began unfolding which would require a non-profit component to attract some grant dollars which were then available. The creation of Progress Trust, Inc. (PTI) as community economic development arm was appropriate and well-received.
