Our mission is to provide assistance to parents who are in transition from incarceration to the community at large, and who have met certain selective criteria for participation in our program. We will strive to empoiwer these parents with the training and skills necessary to obtain jobs other than those offering only minimum wage; to partner with programs – and implement our own, if necessary – which will assist them in qualifying for affordable housing and home ownership; to provide counseling when needed so as to help each parent become the responsible parent that every child deserves; and to act as a liaison between families and DFACS so that every deserving parent may be reunited with their children.
