The Initiative for Mathematics Learning By Inquiry

To strengthen the mathematical preparation of all students by supporting and expanding the community of teacher-practitioners at the pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate levels engaged in Learning by Inquiry by:

developing collaborative communities of teacher-practitioners
supporting the creation of teaching materials, resources, and pedagogical practices informed by mathematics education research
including teachers and students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in mathematics in the practice of Learning by Inquiry
training graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in Learning by Inquiry methods
providing workshops and conferences focused on Learning by Inquiry practice and its assessment
