Volunteer Firefighters Association of Oklahoma

Educating citizens as to the need for improved rural and volunteer fire protection and emergency services for public safety , and to provide for a better understanding of the work and purpose of volunteers in their communities;
Promoting legislation, programs, and information to assist rural communities and towns to establish, equip, maintain, fund, train, document and improve volunteer fire departments and emergency response units for the purpose of prevention, control and extinguishment of fire and the mitigation of accidents both natural and man-made.
